Memento Mortis

In a remote land shrouded in mystery, adventurer Michael was driven by an insatiable desire for fame. Renowned for his daring exploits, he sought out the fabled Maze of Eternity, a dungeon whispered to hold untold riches and a legacy that would immortalize any who conquered it. Ignoring the warnings of those who had ventured and never returned, Micheal entered the dungeon, convinced that his name would echo through the ages.

As he delved deeper, the maze revealed its true nature—endless corridors twisted upon themselves, traps were more cunning than any he had faced, and shadows whispered of his impending doom. But Micheal pressed on, his greed blinding him to the growing signs of danger. Hours turned into days, and the gold he had so desperately sought began to weigh heavily on his shoulders, both physically and metaphorically.

Finally, Micheal realized the terrible truth: there was no exit. The Maze of Eternity was a tomb, not a path to glory. Trapped within its walls, with no hope of escape, Micheal  was left alone to reflect on the price of his ambition. As the battery of his flashlight slowly drains so too did the last spark of his once-great dreams, leaving him to fade into obscurity, forgotten by the world he so desperately wanted to impress.
